♥ My Scotland adventure ♥ part 4

Today was the day I was meeting with Peachie *v* I had been dreaming about this for so many months, ever since I first got to know that I was going to Scotland during easter holiday, and I contacted Ruth about meeting up. It felt so surreal that it was acctually going to happen!

My sister had to work on some new homework that she had got, so it was very convinient for her that I was otherwise engaged this day! She got loads of time to study and that was really great :)
After breakfast, she left for the library around 10 am.

And I got into the nervous state of finding out whatever I was going wear ;A;!!!
I had brought quite a few pieces of lolita clothing, but I was still quite unsure... I have a bunny apron from BtSSB that I know Ruth adores, so I decided quite quickly that I was gonna wear that. The rest wasn´t very easy. I tried on three or four combinations, and spendt a good 20–30 min. just trying on things. Eventually, I went with a really pink outfit with my newly purchased blouse, my jewelry jelly JSK in pink, pink shoes, my Gothic and Lolita wigs wig, and matching pink accessories!
I had loads of time to do my outfit and makeup, since we weren´t going to meet up until around
1:30 pm. I spendt ages and ages in the bathroom doing my makeup, I don´t think I´ve ever spendt that much time on doing it! I wanted everything to be utterly perfect for meeting one of my lolita friends and idols, so I was quite fuzzy with everything. But as I was that fuzzy, I reached a state of lolita that I never knew I could reach! I don´t think I´ve been more happy with my makeup ever before!

Even if I started getting ready a bit before 11 am, I only just made it! I had to leave my sisters flat around 12:30 am, to provide myself with an hour of walking time, just to get to the place where we were gonna meet up. It was outside the St. Giles chatedral in the Royal Mile, at 1:30 pm. I must have double checked my purse, my gift for Peachie and everything I was gonna bring atleast a thousand times before I finally braved going out the door because I was so nervous (and my sister had told me to make absolutely sure I got everything, since I wouldn´t be able to get back into the flat again, since she had the key! >.<) And then I was off!
I felt embarrased and a bit uncomfortable as I walked down the street in deep concentration over the map my sister had drawn me. I got some really lovely feedback messages as I walked along, many people wondered if I was the easter bunny XD"" (didn´t have any ears, so I didn´t really see why, but still...). Silly as I am, I managed to get lost a couple of times before I finally found my way.
By the time I reached my destination, It took about 20 sec before a taxi rode up beside me and Ruth was inside of it. (made it just in time!

I felt litterary star struck, I had to restrain myself not to cry ;v; It was like a dream come true, acctually seeing her, the girl I have admired for so long, looked up to and wanted to meet so much!
We hugged at once, and two seconds later we were bombarded with questions about taking  pictures together with us. There was tons of tourists in the area offcourse, and somehow they absolutely had to have pictures of us. When we told some of them yes, about 20 more came along and started taking pictures like mad O.o It was really embarrasing, and I didn´t really know what to do with myself. Ruth just giggled and seemed a lot more calm about it, though.

When we finally broke loose, we quickly figured I had allready been to some of the places Ruth were gonna show me (oh no ;v;""") so we just found a taxi and headed home to her place. Oh my gosh, I can´t explain how starstruck I was at this point. I have seen so many pictures of Ruthies amazing flat, that I reaaaally have wanted to see for sooo long ;v;

Upon entering it, I felt at once that the atmosphere was really girly and cute ;v; Her hallway had cute pictures on the walls, with my little pony and pictures of lolitas. She had bags hanging on the opposite wall, one in the shape of a strawberry and another one with decorated gingerbread motifs. The first room I came into was her "living room". The place she films all her youtube movies and takes all her outfit pictures! I had to restrain myself not to squeel loudly!!! OAO

And offcourse one of the first things I did when I came in, was to rush towards her famous wall, with all the pictures on it ;v; the wall she always takes her pictures in front of!
Look at all them pictures ;V;

SO OVERWHELMED XD

I just kept running from place to place looking at everything
and going "omg so cuuute" all over the place XD haha... I wanna live there so bad ;v;.
Ruth gave me some strawberry milk in the cutest Disney princess cup you could imagine. It was pink and sparkly and with all the princesses on it!  We sat down on her couch and decided to exchange our gifts to eachother! I was so surprised seeing that she got me gifts! ;A; I had got some norwegian easter candy for her, and I had made a drawing of her character Nurse Kitty-chan! ^^( I am so happy you like my silly art Ruthie <3 ;v; I am not nearly as good at drawing kawaii things as you are, but I will try! ^^). She had got me a figurine of Pinkie Pie from My little pony (I had never seen the show until I saw an episode together with Ruth!) and that made me so happy! ^^ It looked super duper cute <3 I also got some marshmellow candy called "flumps", a cute disney princess trade card w. lollipop and a cute silky hairbow! ^^ I was so overwhelmed, I almost started crying ;_;. She even gave me two sets of adorable earrings ;A;

After that I got to look at Ruthies Hamtaro plushie! That might sound like a little thing to you guys, but Hamtaro is like my favourite anime ever so holding it was so great x3 haha... I don´t know about you, but whenever I´ve looked at peachies things in her pictures, I´ve always wanted to touch some of it and look closer at it XD haha.... I looked closer at her adorable plushies and ponies, and offcourse her magnificent shelfs of toys *v*.

The lighting was really well at the moment, so we decided to get some nice pictures of our outfits!

Then I showed Peachie the pose of my people XD WE ARE ROCKETS GOING TO THE MOON!

And this is my favourite picture of us! ^^ It is currently my desktop picture xD hehe

Peachie insisted on getting some pictures of me alone, since she liked my outfit so much ;v; I was really happy that she felt happy about my bunny apron! (I let her try it on! She looked so cute ;V;

I tried to go OTT today x3

Beloved Hamtaro-chan ;v; LET ME HAVE YOUUUU <333 I just wanted to keep this cutiepie x3 Offcourse I didn´t do it, but still x3 hehe

PLUSHIIIIEEEESSSS <333
(All pictures are courtesy of Princess Peachie ;v; thanks for letting me use them!)

After our little photosession, I got to see Peachies bedroom, and her closet *A* She has those cute puffy, pink silk hangers and I just fell in love! She told me we could go look for them right by where she lived! I also got to see her kitchen and bathroom ;v; both so kawaii and lovely! EVERYTHING was covered in cuteness! Even her toilet had a huge Hello Kitty sticker on it >v< And her Kitchen had loads of cute pictures on the walls and pink little nick-nacks all over the place *V*
 I feel so lucky and priviliged to have seen it in real life ;v;

 Then we decided to go outside! ^^ We visited a few trift shops, and so many nice things happend, it was so perfect omg *v* One of the shops started playing disney music for us >v< And as we walked down the street, people smiled and were so friendly! Peachie showed me a poundsavers shop, and we went on a "pink" hunt. Everything pink was just attracting us
 like moth xD haha... We found more of the silky hangers,
and since they were so cheap I bought two packages, each containing four hangers.
(I should have bought two more though, since it turned out I had far to few when I came home XD haha)

After that we went to get sushi! ^^ That was such a lovely experience! The people that worked there was genuine japanese people and they were so polite and nice to us! One of the girls that worked there asked for our picture at once ^^ After a while, another girl that worked there showed up... she was sooo tiny and extremly cute omg ;A; Both me and Ruthie wanted to hug her because she had the cutest and tiniest voice in the world! She went all "kawaii!!!" on us x3 And she asked if we had any web–adresses with pictures on them to look at. I gave her my blog adress! ^^ She gave me an alice themed pen to write it down with ;v; She said she´d chosen it for us especially! X3 <333 SO ADORBS! I drew loads of little hearts around the adress :3

We had maki rolls and something fancy called "dragon rolls" with fried shrimp, fish eggs, avocado and loads of fancy things in it. The rolls were rather large, so you had to split it in two to get the whole thing x3 hehe... it was hard to eat them, but we succeeded *^*

 Peachie was so cuuute <3 >3< *kissu*

The sushi was Peachies treat (she payed ;A;) and then we then proceeded to an icecream parlour right near by! ^^ Peachie said they had the fanciest icecream sundaes ever there, so I was quite excited! ^^

I had a hard time choosing what flavour to get, since they had so many different kinds! I found one that contained many things I love, so I just had to get it! It was called "coconut dream" if I remember correctly. It had whipped cream, pistachio icecream (my favourite icecream flavour *V*), bits of bounty chocolate (my favourite chocolate) and coconut icecream and strawberry syrup! *A* Peachie choose one called "Honey, I´m home" x3 It had honey, chocolate icecream and vanilla or honey icecream (I think), whipped cream, bits of crunchy honey stuff and honey syrup!

Mine was to the left and Peachies to the right <3

Peachie is the cutest person ever <3

"Mind your dress Frilly!"

In the middle of eating icecream, Peachie suddenly spotted a pink creature outside our window *v* It was one of her friends! She wore the exact same coat as Ruth, and had a super cute backpack with Rapunzel from Disneys Tangled! ^^ Ruth hurried and texted her, so she rushed back to meet us x3 It was so lovely meeting one of her lolita friends <3 She sadly couldn´t stay for a long while, since she had to catch her bus, but it was really lovely none the less :)

Peachie insisted on paying for the icecream also (seriously??? Are you made of pure kindness Peachie ;A;???) After that we went back to Peachies apartment ^^ We had been talking and talking and talking all afternoon about everything! It didn´t feel awkward at all, and we felt like we were so perfect together! We matched like to pees in a pod, and we felt so relaxed and natural together. SO many of our opinions and interest were the same, it felt like we almost were the same person *o* I got to borrow Peachies computer for a little while, since she needed to rest (and I had told her I hadn´t been on the internet for a week XD ) so I quickly checked the blogspot blogs I follow ;v;
At the poundsaver shop we had bought some cookies and sweets, and as we rested we tried them out with some more strawberry milk! ^^ Suddenly Peachie wanted some more pictures of me! It was starting to get a bit late, so the lighting wasn´t as good as before,
but I think they turned out good anyway^^

Eating cookies x3

Afterwards we sat down in Peachies coutch and did something really fun and special >v<
It is a secret until it is published though! But I will tell you that it involves Peachie, me and youtube, so please expect great things ahead! >v< I will make an entry about it as soon as it is published! x3

The clock was approaching 11 pm, and we realized the day had just rushed by sooo quickly ;V; We had had sooo much fun, and laughed so much that we are probably gonna live forever <3 We both felt sad, because we realized we matched so well and we live so far apart ;v; Then Peachie said something that made me more happy than I thought I could be! ^0^
We could meet up two days later (on Sunday) if I were free! Offcourse I said yes at once! I mentioned that I needed to speak to my sister about it, but I knew that we didn´t have anything planned, since we had allready done all the things I had planned to do :) I was soo excited that we might be able to meet again! *v* yaaay <333

I texted my sister and asked her to meet me near by Peachies, because we figured she acctually just lives about a 15 min walk away from my sisters flat! Lucky! ^0^

And then it was time to say goodbye ;v; But it wasn´t as sad as I´d fear it would be. Because we knew we could meet again in a couple of days! I was quite afraid that I had tired her out to much, but since she was the one to suggest it, I really wanted to do it ^^.
I thanked her once more for all the gifts and lovely treats! I hugged her and then I was off ;v;
My sister showed up quite soon after I´d stepped outside, and as we wandered home through the streets, I told her about our adventures >v<

When we reached home, I was so exhausted! It had been a looong day and I had experienced sooo many lovely things ;v; I was kinda sad that it was over, but I will always treasure the memories of this day <3 It means so much to me, that we were able to meet and that it was proven that we are so suited for eachother! I never thought I´d meet someone exactly like me ;A;
I will miss you until the day I meet you again Peachie <3 I am so happy about meeting you, because I feel so much closer to you now! I got to know so many new and exciting things about you that I will always treasure  ^^ I am happy that we are at least penpals so that we can write cute letters to eachother from time to time ;v; and that we know eachother online so that we can chat a lot!

When I had gotten out of my outfit, removed the makeup and got into my pyjamas again, I just fell into bed. My pink little  teddy bear comforted me as I closed my eyes and got ready to sleep once more. I felt boosted with inspiration and happy thoughts, wanting to be the best person, and the best lolita I could ever be! I wish I could be as good of a princess as Peachie is, it is one of my goals v;
You have filled me with a kind of positivity that I never thought I were able to feel peachie,
thank you!

And lastly:
(shamelessly stealing gifs from Peachie >v> yushhhh)

I hope you enjoyed this entry
 as much as I enjoyed writing it! ^^
See you soon again! <3

♥ My Scotland adventure ♥ part 3

 WARNING!
No pictures in this post, since I am ditzy and forgot to take any this day!

On the third day, my eyes flew up just as early as the day before, and we got ready for breakfast.
As we sat there, nipping to our cardamom tea, we discussed what to do this day.
My sister suggested that we could go to Grassmarket, since it is the best district for vintage, cute and little nifty shops! ^^ So, after quickly getting ready, we headed outside in good spirits.
Grassmarket is a place I have been to before, the first time I visited my sister, some years ago, so I kinda knew what was up ahead. Still I was really excited to re-discover everything!

We got outside very early this day, because my sister wanted to hit the university library before it closed, later in the afternoon. So, since it was only around 10 am, most shops were just about to open. We passed quite a deal of sweet trift shops that we just had to walk by because of that ;v; buhu...

Suddenly we found a really cute trift shop that looked very classy and nice. They had both vintage and redesigned things! Their collection was focused about 60´s to 90´s style clothing. They had loads of redesigned 60´s clothes that looked really cute ;v; and the cutest little bird brooches and classical rings that would look lovely with mori or even classical lolita! I was so amused by the shops room–layout, because when you thought you had seen it all, suddenly there was another room! In this room, I found my nicest purchase of my whole trip ;v; After browsing every single row of cloth, I started studying the last one, when I suddenly found something amazing! It was a totally lolita-able blouse! It was pink, had a lovely pink "turtleneck" with lace all along it, lovely in-tucked arms with lace, and loads and loads of lace upon lace all over the upper area under the neckline. I had to try it on though, because it was a vintage blouse and not acctually meant for lolita originally (even though it totally looks like a passable lolita blouse O.o), but I loved it so much I just had to get it! *v* The lace is a liiiiittle bit sketchy, but I don´t really mind. The blouse in itself is really great. I love it <333
(will post pictures when I do my "purchases" entry)

After leaving the shop in utter joy (the shop ladies were so sweet to me also, they saw me in the blouse when I showed my sister, and they were all like "it looked so cute! I thought you´d get that :) )
we walked on and soon we found ourselves arrived in Grassmarket. There we visited most of the shops! I especially loved the candy shop ;v; A traditional, tiny store wheer they had tons of huge, rainbow coloured lollipops, and jar upon jar of sweets! Everything from gummy worms, to fizzy cola-jellies. And they even had neopolitan fudge OAo. My sister got 100 g of multicoloured "christmas blend" and  100 g of sugary"apple–rhubarbmix", and I bought 50 g of some lovely lavender coloured sweets called  "Violet creams", 50 g of some crazily green ones called  "soor plums" (they weren´t really sour though, but super duper good anyway!) , and 100 g of "salty" licorice (no one does salty licorice like they do in Scandinavia =V=). I was almost a bit sad to leave! I could have bought the entire store I think XD Everything looked so good haha, I love sweets >v>

Out on the street again, we approached the fairytale-ish vintage store "Armstrongs" *v* Ok, now, you need to know one thing about that shop, and that is that it is like walking into a bohemian dream! Seriously, the ceiling is lined with strings, going from one corner to the other, with stacks clothing from all eras in time, it seems. Old hats in all kinds of shaped and colours, and if you walk onwards, you find genuine vintage dresses from the late 1800s, corsets, lace wests, blouses, pintucks, nips, nacks and everything lacy and lovely. In one room there is a whole row of weddingdresses stretched on a string accross the room, from really lovely tacky 80´s ones with huuuge puffed sleeves, to more refined ones with glittery skirts. A goldlined mirror with russian fur hats that resembled something straight out of Anastasias world stuck around it, and simply... everything nice and lovely you could imagine! I found a place in there where they had tons of neglices working PERFECTLY for cult party kei *v* I tried on loads of them, but for some reason, none of them were quite right, so I ended up not getting any ;v;""
Really, I would reccomend anyone to visit "Armstrongs", if not to buy anything, than going in the shop itself is enough reason to! It is a magical experience... like getting ripped out of present day time and back to bohemian, Moulin Rouge-era Paris!

After spending what seemed like ages in that shop, we walked on, explored some artist shops with cute little handmade necklaces, buttons and such, and a couple of book shops. We decided it was time for lunch around 1 pm. So we went to a little cosy pub called "Doctors", because I really wanted to try out fish & chips traditional style :3  I haven´t had it since I was in England as a six year old, so it was like a rush of nostalgia! :)

We then went on to look at some more shops,  to make time go by. My sister told me that there was a tiny version of "Armstrongs" just around the corner by the pub, so we went there and I got a nice, basic pearl bracelet to go with lolita ^^. We visited went back to "Pie in the sky" (where I met the girl that recognized Sagas work ;v;) and there I bought a musical note necklace and a cross necklace that I´d seen the last time I went there. A couple of more shops, and then we headed home. We went past the university to see if the library was open, but it turned out we were to late, so we missed it. Luckily, it wasn´t very late in general though , so we went to buy some groceries, and headed to back to my sisters flat. There she got the time to study for a bit, and I read in my newly purchased manga book (forgot to write about it before, just updated my first entry from the first day when I bought it).

My sister had decided to make homemade curry this night! We invited one of her roomates (the one that hadn´t gone home for the holidays yet) and her boyfriend. He brought naanbread *Q* (one of my absolute favourite treats) and we had a jolly feast! It was really delicious indeed! >v<

I took a shower, and then once again it was time to get all warm and cosy in bed. I got to read a bit more, even though the lovely dinner and shower had made me pretty tired, and soon I was in slumberland, dreaming about what tomorrows adventures would bring.

Because you see...
The next day I met my good friend Peachie! ^0^ <333

Please look forward until the next entry! ^^

!!!One year anniversary!!!

Yes, you read correctly! Today is the

1 year anniversary of my blog!

YAAAAY ^0^

Now, I had planned to do a bigger entry, with a bit about my year as a blogger, my favourite posts that I´ve made and a sort of summary as to how I´ve grown as a blogger, but because of heaps and more heaps of school work, I had to just do a small entry today >.<

I almost forgot about it, infact! o////o Imagine that!

Even though I might not be able to write a long entry, I wanna say that this blog means a lot to me. It is like my little portal to show the world what I think about, my inspirations and ideas, my style and interests, and hopefully be able to inspire someone else in the process ^^
I have managed to beat my goal of reaching 200 followers in one year! I am soooo happy for that :D
My current number of followers are 220, acctually! And I am so amazed and greatful for that ;v;

So, thank you guys very much for always sticking with me, and supporting me through and through <3 If it wasn´t for you, I don´t know where this blog had been going...
Thank you all very much! Lets hope the year ahead of us will be just as lovely! ^0^

Stay genki and stay Kawaii!

♥ My Scotland adventure ♥ part 2

image

I dediced to just go on, telling you about my Scotland trip right away! ^^
Why wait?

As expected, whenever I sleep in a new bed, I wake up extra early in the next morning, and this day was no exception. I snuk up and went to the toilet before I crawled back into bed with my book for a while. Then my sister finally opened her eyes, and it was time for some breakfast before going into town again! I tried out crumpets, which I absolutely loved *v* Especially with chocolate spread *Q*  And I got to taste a great flavour of tea that I really liked! It was cardamom <3 I wound up drinking it almost every morning after that XD haha...

ehm, well, anyway ^^"
When we had finished, I just had to choose what to wear.
Since there was no snow on the ground, I had the chance to finally wear my black platform shoes again outside, which I still won´t be able to do at home for quite some time!
 So offcourse I took the chance to do that! I wore a pastel goth outfit this day, to match it it.
I probably spendt far to long on my makeup,
But I rather like how It looked in the end, so it was worth it :)

This day we had decided to go into Princess street, to look at all the clothing stores!
I was really excited about it, since they have a lot of shops we don´t have at home there :)
First we went to Urban Outfitters, and basically worked our way all the way down to Top Shop, along the whole street. I think we went into almost every single shop! Except Primark, and a few others (I don´t know about you guys, but I feel like Primark is far to intimidating to go into xD It is far to big!)

I got a really nice necklace with pearls, a cross and loads of pink diamonds on it from a shop called "New Look". Later on, a bit down the street, we stumbled upon "the bodyshop" also,  and I just had to go in to buy a refill for a daycream I am almost out of. It turned out that they didn´t have it in stock (and the other shop we found later on, didn´t have it either :-/). I did get the nightcream from the same set though, since I would need to get that in not to long anyway, but I was a bit disappointed.

Our dad sent us a text message about picking up some stuff that I were to bring home with me for them, so by the time we were about to go into Topshop, we had to go up another street  for a while to find a tiny little shop my sister knew about that had what they were seeking. On the way there, we had lunch at a nice little café with an african theme going on. I had a sandwich with a banana milkshake *v* My sister had tea and a panini :3

On our way back, I knew about a few other stores I wanted to visit that wasn´t in Princess street, but quite close by, so I suggested for my sister to take the turn around those when we went back! ^^
We walked down the royal mile for a little bit, and walked down a narrow street with tons of lovely little nick-nack shops along it. We didn´t look to closely into these shops yet, since we were planning on going there another time, so really, we only visited a couple of them.

THIS was inside one of the shops *____*  It is chocolate! ALL of it! I just had to take a picture,
It looked so amazing *v* They had all kinds of weird combinations!
 (I bought some a couple of days later =v= )

And now I have to tell you all something very funny that happend next! ^^
We went into a little trift shop/clothing store that had loads of really neat alternative clothing, vintage things and cool Harajuku like accessories. I was just browsing and minding my own buisness around the counter, when the girl behind it (she had green hair, and was really adorable. Looked like someone straight out of tumblr!) looked at me and said carefully "uhm.. sorry.... your headband... is it, from iro... iro..." I looked at her and smiled "do you mean Irodohieru?" I asked, and she just lit up "yeah! thats it! Is it?", "oh yeah it is! She is a friend of mine!" I said and smiled.
She smiled even more and said "oh my gosh! I am such a big fan of her style, she is so cool!" and I couldn´t do anything but agree with her offcourse! ^^
I just have to tell Saga about this, I thought to myself as we left the shop,
so I decided to write about the little encounter here :3 It was so lovely...
Your work is known worldwide Saga! :D you are so talented <3

The little shop I was going to visit in that street, happend to be closed this day, but we didn´t loose spirits just because of that! We walked on, and visited a small anime shop that my sisters boyfriend had told us about they day before. They seemd to have a very low stock at the moment, but I bought some japanese candy that I´ve wanted to try for a while and some blueberry pocky and banana pocky ;V;

Well down in Princess street we headed over to visit Topshop finally,  and then we went to the lovely accesories shop "Claire´s". I didn´t find anything I liked there, and since it was closing time soon (around 6 pm) we decided to walk down back to the beginning of Princess street, since I wanted to have a quick look at a plaid skirt I´d seen on Urban Outfitters. On the way there my sister popped into a shop and tried on and bought a beautiful blue linen dress that looked really great on her.
 Sadly it wasn´t meant to be a skirt for me, because when I tried it on it didn´t really look good on me. So we left empty handed.

We figured out we hadn´t got any pictures, so we snapped one outside.
 With todays purchases

After all of that, we went home to rest. My feet were killing me, and my sisters back were killing her, so we needed the brake! This evening we decided to get Sushi. Together with her boyfriend we went down to a local place we knew about that wasn´t to far from her flat (we were far to tired to walk for a long while xD). It turned out all of us would rather have something warm to eat, so my sister and her boyfriend got yakisoba while I got yakiudon. I have never had it before, but I enjoyed it quite a bit, it was so tasty! *v*

It had been another long day, with so many happenings!
It felt great to just crawl into bed that night, and once again I fell asleep almost at once.
Couldn´t wait for another fantastic day with my sister! ^^

Stay tuned for more!

♥ My Scotland adventure ♥ part 1

Yaaaay! :D finally time for an update about my fantastic trip to Scotland this easter vacation! ^^
 The first day was quite stressfull, and I looked very tired since I just wore comfy clothes, so I didn´t take many pictures, sorry >.<
Ok, here we go!

So, the first day I had to wake up at 1:45 am in the middle of the night to make sure I could get some food, and to have time to double check everything before it was time to go. I had to be perfectly packed and ready by 3 am, since the bus to the airport went from the station at about 3:20. I had packed everything the day before, but I am always paranoid when traveling, so I need some time to make sure and double check a couple of thousand times XD I am also the kind of person that feels like I pack far to little all the time, or I can´t choose what to bring and what not to bring. So my bag was quite full even from the beginning, before buying all of the things I got!
Anyway, so me and my dad had to drive a bit before 3 am to get there, since it takes about 30 min from our house to the bus station ^^" And then there was a two hour bus trip alone to get to the airport *_* As you might guess, I live quite far out in the countryside XD haha.... =v="""
 or, well... atleast far from the airport :P

When I arrived, there was luggage check–in, security control and then a bit of waiting to get on the plane finally. But around 7 it was finally time to head over to Gardemoen, which is the biggest airport in Norway, located outside of Oslo. I had to go there first, to get on another plane to Edinburgh :) I was quite nervouse, since I feel like a little child all lost and alone when I travel, constantly finding myself groping my pockets to check if everything is still there x3 haha, I should probably wear one of those "I travel alone" tags!

So yeah, when I finally arrived down there, after 1 and a half hour, I made sure to get to the transfer place, and not the luggage claim. That was my biggest worry really, to take the wrong way! >.< I managed just fine, and soon I found myself in the international area of the airport, where all the planes that goes to other countries are located. Here, I had to wait for almost two more hours TT_TT by the time I came there, I was quite hungry also, so I had to get a bit of lunch (not having eaten anything in around 6 hours or so O.o). I treated myself to a bit of Kitkat afterwards, seeing as I was so lucky as to find it in the taxfree store! ^^ Really, the only place you find kitkats in Norway!

I felt really happy when I finally arrived at the my gate to the Edinburgh plane, cause it seemed like I had timed it perfectly right! They had just started boarding when I arrived and
exactly when I stepped up they opened up for checking in at another place on the counter,
 so I was one of the very first to get on the plane! I was lucky and got a window seat,
which sadly didn´t turn out to be as lucky as I thought, since the sun was blasting directly at it,
and I had to keep it shut all the time to not melt away with the heat.
So basically that trip was just about sleeping xD haha
It is quite funny acctually, arriving at half an hour later in Scotland, when the trip acctually takes 1 and a half hour! But that is because of the time difference... we are one hour before them in time, so when going to Scotland you have to take away one hour, and when going back you have to add one hour, making it a 2 and a half hour planeflight.

I felt my heart go doki doki all over the place when the plane finally made its touch–down, and we had arrived. Soon I was going to see my sister again! ^^ She lives in Edinburgh because she studies history over there. She was my sole reason to go there in the first place :) I hadn´t seen her in ages (since christmas!) so it was so lovely spotting her bright, smiling face as she ran towards me by the entry gate :) We made sure to get out some money, so that I could buy a return ticket on the bus, as it was proven to save me a lot of money, instead of buying seperate ones ^^ and then we were off! We went all the way into town, and stepped off at around the place where the Hilton hotel is located, since we had to walk from there. It was around 30 min or a bit more, but really, it was so lovely just to be with my sister again, and there were so many things to look at that time just flew away, and suddenly we had arrived at her flat. She is sharing it with two other girls that also studies, but they were out when we arrived, so I didn´t get to meet them right away. (one of them, that is also Norwegian, had traveled home for the easter holidays, and the other one also did after some days.)

It was such a cute flat! Oh my gosh x3 very small and with the weirdest room arrangement you could ever imagine. Long, narrow rooms, with very tall roofs, and weird turns and corners that seemingly had not purpose other than making the room get a really weird shape. She had fairylights in the hallway, a lot of retro postcards hanging over her kitchen table and the sweetest bedroom you could imagine :3 My sister is quite cool, she loves knitting, reading and is into retro things.

( A little corner of her room! ^^ So you can see what kind of type she is :) I think it looks really lovely.
Her desk is located right in front of a huge window, so she has loads of lovely light coming in
for when she´s working or painting her watercolour pictures ^^)

 She takes a lot of pictures with an old Pentax camera from the 70´s (she used it a lot on our trip to Paris together ^^ It can be seen in my last post about my Paris trip HERE), and she loves drinking tea ^^ She has flower fairy and moomin postcards on her wall, and a couple of really cool larger paitings with whale types on them.
She also has a blog, if you wanna see more of her lifestyle, even though it is mainly a picture blog! I don´t wanna post more pictures of her flat, since I don´t think she would like that. But please look into her blog! She posts about all her cute knitting projects, reccomend songs and all that kind of stuff :) Her blog has a very special, calm and natural mood around it <3

After placing my luggage in her room ( I was sleeping with her, since she had a big and super comfy doublesized bed) We decided to just go out into town at once. It was around 3 or 4 pm by then, and we soon found out that we should go to a little café. I was dying to try out scones, since it´s my favourite treat in the whole wide world ;v; clotted cream + rasberry jam <3<3<3<3 asdfghjsgjkxdfghjkfdfghj
It was like taking a bite of heaven, I could´t help but sigh heavily and I had a feeling my eyes probably got very blank, sparkly and big as I just stared into thin air, endulging in every bit of the taste...

That was a moment I truly hold precious... it has been three our four years since I had it the last time, so it was like... like heaven simply <3

(I got two scones on seperate plates, with clotted cream and jam, and a lovely cup of hot cocoa since the snow was drizzling down outside the window. We were at a café called "The larder" where they have loads of eco-friendly things, and they focus on "being green". Very cosy :3 reccomended!)

This is my sister :) She is so sweet and lovely <3 And she has the cutest smiling eyes I know of ^^

After that we just wandered about, looked into trift stores and little shops until it was closing time around 6 - 7 pm. We visited a marvelous comicbook stores, where I got the first book in the Ouran High School Host Club series *v*. Then we headed home, buying some groceries at Tesco. First time ever being at one. I have this weird thing that I enjoy looking at supermarkeds when I am abroad, because I find it so fascinating to look at what they sell that differs from home!
 Yeah, I know... I´m a freak x3"

 We got stuff for breakfast, including crumpets,
which I´ve also never tried but have wanted to for quite some time *v*.
After paying we went home to rest a little bit. I had uttered a wish to try out dumplings for dinner, since I´ve never had that. We called up my sisters boyfriend, since he loves dumplings, and he decided to join us ^^ We had to travel quite a bit to get to the place they knew about that had it, so we were quite cold and famished by the time we arrived. It was pitch–black out, besides the lights from the houses and lampposts, when we stepped into the tiny resturant.
I found out that dumplings definitely looks better than they taste. I liked the fried ones the most though, found the steamed ones to be... very.... dough-y... they had to much "wrapping" kinda :P hehe

And then it was time for bed ^^ It had been a loooong day, and I was super duper tired, and after placing up my teddybear, finding my book and jumping into my pyjamas, my sister folded three thick and lovely blankets on top of us, making us all toasty and comfortable. One of the blankets, she got from a "homemade" shop, it is really lovely. It is quilted, and has loads of elephants on it. The colours and patterns are very African, as I believe the shop where she got it is related to sending the money they make to Africa or something like that.
 I tried to read a bit, but my eyes just kept falling down, so I quickly gave up and were soon sound asleep. It had been a really lovely first day, and I couldn´t wait for tomorrow!

I hope you enjoyed this entry! ^^
