My Swedish fairytale: Day 2 - Maids!

When I opened my eyes the next morning,
it finally dawned upon me, the incredible thing that had happened yesterday 

I had acctually met Emilia! It felt so surreal and unrealistic, It acctually took some days for me to fully realize the situation I was in! I mean, I met sooo many people that I´ve only seen in pictures online and that I admire so much! Emilia (Pastelbat), Amanda (Lolitaland), Emma (LoversRock), Simon (Bakasoseji) and loads of people that I didn´t even know before I met them there! I sadly don´t remember everyones name, because I am stupid like that, but I did meet people like Alexandra (Nova-zun), Sara, Hannah, the butler Asu and our co-leader (together with Emilia) and founder  Sakura (Wonderhatter)! ^^

We got up quite early, as we still had to fix the maid-cafés location,
to get all the finishing touches down!

 I got my suitcase properly settled in the sleeping hall where all the maids and butlers slept, and I got to see my maid uniform for the first time! I had settled it with Emilia to get me my uniform from the same taobao shop that most of the other maids in the café got theirs, so I just had to pay her when I arrived, and got it! ^^ I choose pink as my main colour, because I thought it would suit me the most, and also because it suited my character! (<----more about that later)
I got a cute headbow and an apron with three detachable bows also ! Lovely!

I got dressed, did my makeup and wig and rushed over
to the cafe to fix the last things before we were going to start!

 Emilia and the others fixed themselfes also, and we started making our outside stall ready!
You see, this year, they were trying out how it would be to have a cute little outside booth, as a little extra thing to add to the actual cafe! The main difference was that they only had serving in the outside booth, and thus not the whole "experience" that you would normally have in the actual café! 

As you might know, the routine in a maid café is that you bow and wish everyone welcome, saying "okaeri!", and then taking their orders, casting a little personal spell on their food when they get it, and simply play your role as whatever kind of maid you are! (everyone has an individual character) However, as I said, while we were outside, we simply served the food
(It was quite tiresome though, as the temperature was really high
and we had quite an amount of clothes on @_@)

Now, the sad part is that the outside booth wasn´t very successful, to be honest>_>
We didn´t get many customers, the freezer didn´t want to freeze the icecream, and at one point it started to rain, and the wind became so strong that the whole tent almost fell down >.<

So, long story short, we decided to just pack everything together for the day, even one hour before the actual closing time! And we settled that everyone would rather work inside on the next day instead :)

That was basically the first working day! I was rather beat, and we decided to finally get something for dinner, as we had been working up until 19:00 pm! And I am not all that proud of saying that we went to McDonalds uhuhuuu... normally I´m not the kind of person to go there, but we had quite limited options, and since I got a salad it was ok ^^".... I acctually don´t like burgers (gasp! C-------X)

Afterwards, was the official opening seremony! So we quickly got changed into more comfy clothes and headed out to the big stage to see Sakura and some of our other friends preform in cosplay as AKB0048 on stage ^^ We were picked out to be their pepp-team, so we got to go in first and thus got great places just by the scene! They were so talented and great, it felt like a real idol-concert *v*

 We had glow-sticks and everything, and it felt so surreal and fantastic I couldn´t help but smile and laugh until my cheeks kinda hurted XD haha >/////>

When everything was over, we luckily got to go the bed (a lot earlier this night than the previous one), and it felt rather lucious to just snuggle up under my blankets again ; u; yay! 

The next day was going to be our  seifuku themed day! And we were working inside the café!
So the risk of dying in the heat (30 degrees celsius, with petticoats and wigs x_x) was
considerably lower this time ; v; hehe

Kawaii tip of the week: stickers!

I have never wanted this blog to become one of those blogs with eternal whining about not having the time to update, or school taking all of my time... but really, what else can I say? I decided to do a quick update anyway, since I needed to take a little brake ^^

Since I got my new moleskine sketchbook, I have been in a desperate need of new stickers! Why, you might ask, well... that is simply because good art supplies have this little thing with them that almost always makes them equal boring design. I can almost asure you, that if you find a really good quality sketchbook, it is bound to be either black, or some other dark, boring colour. 

I have a certain addiction to "cute-ify" all of my art things, if they don´t allready come with cute designs. The quickest, simplest and easiest way to do this, will be with stickers! ^^

I offcourse went on a sticker hunt at once, and after some searching here and there, I ended up with a couple of super cute ones :) 

Supporting smaller businesses is really important to me, because I love that fact that people are able to create something unique and share it with the world! ^^ It is really nice also, because you can get really nice and special handmade things, one of a kind even :) 

I decided that the "theme" for my sketchbook this time, would be bunnies ^^

 These little cuties are currently all over the cover of my moleskine, 

and I can´t help but squeel a little bit every time I see it x3 

I bought them from this really cute store called

both of them together were only about 7 $! The shop is owned by a lovely girl called Samantha, I really reccomend checking out her super cute designs if you like kawaii things ^^ You can find loads of other really adorable things in the shop ! Both apparel, mugs, plushies and other stationary <3 

Since I couldn´t really decide on what stickers to get, 

I also got these reeeally adorable ones from another artist as well ^^

I fell in love instantly, and just had to get them!

These couple of sticker sheets were only about 9 $ in total! I was really surpised also, because the big one is acctually A4 in size! so its really huge! :D

I can´t wait to find something to stick these ones on also. I just love them so much >w< iih!

Today, the sun was shining when I opened my eyes, and I had just woken up from a dream that made me both happy and quite melancholic. Short to say, no energy to do anything really...

So, as the day came upon me, I thought I´d take some pictures of what our house currently looks like... 

Since my mom is the kind of person that loves interior, she often buys little oddities to fix up here and there.

As a result, our home has become a big mash of old and new, with everything from homemade things, to antiques, and some brand new stuff. The fun thing is that everything has its own story attached to it!

It is said to be pleasing for the soul to be surrounded by beautiful things, 

so with no further nicknack, here is some of the pretty things to be found in my house...

I was able to borrow a camera, which is the reason why most of the pictures are a lot better, qualitywise ^^ 

If you feel down one day, it feels really good to just walk around and snap a few pictures of what is aesthetically pleasing around you! It helps you focus on positive things and it also kind of opens your eyes more to what kind of beautiful and nice things you might have just beside you,

 that you don´t even think about on a daily basis!

It made me happier for sure today :-)

Howdy!

As life has been busy, and this years summer-job at the local library started 2 weeks ago, Josephine became a dull grown-up that had to take responsibilties and work...

The reason she didn´t update, was also because she was warming you all up to this months BIG event ; v; 

bleaching her hair !

~I am so freaking exciteddddddddd~

So, today I will simply make an update to show you guys what my past couple of weeks has been all about! (^^ Some daily outfits as well! )

 My godmother made the cutest, sweetest, and most cavity enducing cupcakes known to mankind...

I got new, super cute curtains for my bedroom >w<

I wore " fancy box" at work!

My brand new "Sugarbunnies" desk mat arrived! ^^

 This is one of the cutest and most usefull things I have ever bought!

Day off, spendt in a simple, yet sweet lolita outfit with pink, white and mint details.

 I wore my jewelery jelly headbow with this! ^^

It was an extremly cold day, and I went to work as a "leopard bear" xD

I was bored, and went into our loft and dug out my old Konata figurine that I got when I was 13 years old...

Wanted to wear something classical and elegant, but still punk-ish and cool for the weekend!

 (That sweater is really wide on me, and I really have no idea why it makes me look fat in this picture O.o It wasn´t touching my tummy, only the lining of the skirt I wore )

Not much else has happend really, I have seen the new spiderman movie in the cinema, and also the Abraham Lincoln one (xD) 

Other than that, I have really just been tired from working everyday, and anciously awaiting  the day of my hair colouring ^^ I have not been able to spend any money for 3 weeks, and finally =v= its happening...
