Vacation in Great Britain: part 5

I feel like the next few days of my trip are rather insignificant to write about.
Wow, me being completely drained of all reserves now, shows that I have lost all energy to even consider being creative >.< I think its only "boring" information somehow ^^"
All I did besides the days when I was with Peachie, was looking around shops from morning until night! My sister was extremly busy with school at the time,
so I was pretty much left to entertain myself all day :P

Priscilinha's-Place.zip.net

Yeah I got to buy loads of stuff, but I can´t really tell the days from eachother anymore, so I don´t remember when I bought what >_>""" ehehe.....

Therefore I thought I´d just post ALL the rest of my purchases here in this entry! ^^ This is stuff from the entire trip, both from before and after the days I met up with Ruth. Most of the stuff I got in Edinburgh, but some are from London as well :-)

Let´s get started!

First of all, this is all the manga books I bought!
Oreimo volume 1, and Honey and Clover volume 2 and 3 ^.^
Would highly reccomend both these series ;-)

And I also got loads of Adventure Time goodies! *V* yaay
It´s my nr. 1 fandom >v<<3<3<3
Here is volume 1 ,2 and 3 in the comic book series!
And I also got a fridge-magnet that says "Candy people unite!" x3 so cute <33

Priscilinha's-Place.zip.net

I offcourse also had to get this amazing poster!
Had to put it up straight away when I got home!
http://distilleryimage11.ak.instagram.com/1fc2dd9ea07111e3af1c0e00870f07bb_8.jpg
( I think its funny how you can see my Finn and Jake figurines also ;v; )

All the comic books and "geeky" merch was bought at the Forbidden Planet.

I think its really interesting trying out sweets that we don´t have in my country,
so I got some of that as well ;v; hihi
Green tea –, Red bean –, and sesame Mochi! ^^ Cinnamon bun bites, a homemade chocolate bar with skittles, Aero bubble mint chocolate bar and a Reese´s peanut butter chocolate bar <3 Bought here and there, can´t really recall...

Priscilinha's-Place.zip.net

I was lucky, and acctually found poptarts as well! *v*
Brown sugar cinnamon, Confetti cupcake, s´mores and peanut butter!
I got some new ones, and some that I´ve tried before! ^^
We don´t get this stuff in my country, so I kinda stocked up ^^"""" ehehe

One of the things I had decided about looking for, was some new casual accesories, to wear with everything! I was really happy that I managed to find so much! <3
Loads of bracelets, rings, and some hair  things ^^ I acctually got more hair accessories (some bows, another rose and a headband), but I forgot to place them in the picture >_>" Most are from Claire´s, but I also bought some at Primark and in random thrift shops ;-)

Priscilinha's-Place.zip.net

Oh, did I mention that I got my very first Care Bear over there??
Well I did! ^^ It´s Loves– a–lot! :D
With it is a cute box filled with raspberry drops, featuring Sanrio´s Usahana!

... and finally, here is all the makeup and care–products I got ;v;
Vanilla Bodymist and Honey eu de toilette from Bodyshop, powder and Clinique cleansing–set
from Boots, mascara and blush from Superdrug and lastly,
the heartshaped box holds three luxury pink confectionary pieces from a fancy shop >v> <3

Priscilinha's-Place.zip.net

And thats pretty much it! I did get a few more thing, but by the time I took the pictures, I kinda forgot about them ... ehh ^^"" Yeah, I know these purchases might not be too exciting, but I am happy with everything I got, and I think thats the most important point :-)

Hope you enjoyed this little update ^^!

Because you are all so patient and lovely with me being so slow on updating,
I will give you a little taste of what to expect in the next entry ;-)

Ta– daaah! (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
... haha xD let´s just say that our second meeting was a blast! xDDD

Please look forward until next time! <3

Huggles and imaginary cookies for everyone!

Sugary sweet Christmas: Chocolate crunchy Cookie Cubes

EDIT: I realize as I am a person with an ED, it might be weird for me to post something like this, but it doesn´t mean I can´t bake something for christmas for my family.
In the spirit of the holidays, there are tons of traditions coming up!
For me, christmas is all about the preperations, which there are tons of.
We spend most of december prepearing for christmas, and loads of it includes baking and cooking all kinds of delicious sweets, candies, cakes and other snacks, as well as salting meat, fish, making salads and other things. Norwegian traditions says you should always have atleast seven different kinds of cakes for christmas, so you can imagine how busy I´ve been during the last few weekends!
I have had far too much school to be able to work on other things during the weekdays, so the end of the weeks have pretty much been devoted to christmas.

image

It makes me feel like a little child ;V; all giddy and happy inside, just thinking about it!
I hope it will be a nice vacation this year, we have loads of time after all! ^0^
I worked really hard these past few weeks, and managed to finish ALL my homework before we got off on holiday, so now I can do whatever I want ;V; yay! <3

image

So, kind of like a little celebration for christmas, and because I acctually did this all by myself this year for the first time, I wanted to share a little recipe with you guys! :-3
My mom and my godmother has had this tradition of making christmas confectioneries together every year, since I can remember. This year, however, none of them had the time, so I took it upon myself to bring the tradition forth ^0^

These little delicious treats are called
Chocolate crunchy Cookie Cubes!

These things are said to be so delicious that you need to put a lock on the box, hehe x3
And really, with the rich, crunchy texture, and the delicious mixture, with both coconut – and almondflakes, sweet crunchy crackers,  and loads of delicious chocolate, with cream and syrup too, these yummy confections are perfect for anyone who enjoys some sugary goodness *v*
(might be a bit filling though ^^" so there is plenty to give away!!)

These have always been my sisters favourites, so I hope she will enjoy the ones I made as well :-)
I think the thing that makes these so dreamy, is the fact that we use light milky baking–chocolate for the filling, instead of dark baking–chocolate, which just wouldn´t do with this recipe.

I would reccomend any sweets-lover to have a go at making these!
They are pretty easy to whip together, with some coordination and concentration
(remember that this is the first time I made them, and they became perfect! )
And because of the conventient cube shape, they are perfect christmas gifts also. Put them in a little box, and wrap a red silk ribbon around them, and you´re ready to go :-3

Recipe:

300 g chopped milk baking-chocolate
2 tbsp light syrup
185 g butter
2 tbsp unwhipped cream
250 g chopped sweet crackers
(I use Marie crackers)
200 g almondflakes
1 1/2 dl coconutflakes

Glazing:
150 – 200 g milk chocolate
15 g butter

Directions:
Put down greaseproof paper in a pan that measures about 19 x 29 cm, and then butter it.
Mix together butter, sirup, the unwhipped cream and chocolate in a large sauce pan.
Use a low heat setting, and mix well until melted, but make sure it doesn´t boil!

(TIP: always put the butter in first, and slightly let it melt before adding the other ingredients!).

Put in the chopped crackers, almond  – and coconutflakes, mix well.
Press the paste into the pan and set it aside.
Then you make the glazing. Melt the butter and the chocolate while stirring, and pour it over the pan.
Spread the glazing evenly and put the finished result in a cool storing place over night.
Cut the paste into cubes (around 2.5 – 3 cm wide),
and then you´re done! ^^

This was my little addition to the happiest seasons of the all! ^^
I really hope you enjoyed this entry, and will consider making the Chocolate crunchy Cookie Cubes for yourself also! If you do, please let me know!
And perhaps, if you don´t feel like making it this christmas,
there is always a good excuse to make chocolateconfections around valentines! ;-)

As a last little addition to this entry, I would like to say that I am happy to announce that all my lolita things arrived in time! ^0^ So that means I get to wear my new outfit for christmas after all! ^v^
Whahh... I can´t feel bad around christmas, it is the best time of the year, and it just fills me with this happy feeling that makes me feel all giddy and happy inside >v< hihi

Do you have any baking traditions
for christmas?

Only a few days left now *V* iiih...
I almost can´t wait!

a little early, but still
Merry Christmas everyone!

My Swedish fairytale: Day 5 - 6 – Stockholm

First of all, HURRAY for my 100th blog post!
Imagine that I have acctually posted 100 posts on this blog @_@ WOW!

On Sunday, we woke up pretty early, as we had to pack down our suitcases and the rest of the café before we were going home! I didn´t really bother with anything this day, just wore my comfy clothes, since we were going to travel for quite some hours to get back home to Emilias home
= V= hehe

It was really nice spending that last couple of hours with everyone! ^^
We had banana-splits for breakfast, because they had loads of leftovers in the café that
they needed to use XD ahaha
It was fun! ^^

After eating, we attended the japanese–fashion show! It was hosted by Jen (MintXMint),
the same that hosted the lolita meeting! ^^
So the models were pretty much most of the earlier meetup-attendees!
I sadly didn´t get very many good pictures, but I´ll show you this! <3
Cutie Elsa (Sweetsugarlolita) looked sooo super adorable on the far left there >////>

After the fashion show, both Elsa, and Melva (in the most amazing Btssb dress EVER), joined us to look at the ending show for the convention! There they summed up what had happend, showed some amazing AMV´s and had some great dancers preforming ^^
Amongst other things, our AKB0048 friends danced again yaay ^^
We felt so pumped cheering them on!

We talked a bit more, but I felt really sad that we had to leave eachother, possibly never too meet again! :( We then tried to plan where we could meet again before I went home!
We figured I could atleast meet Melva (sadly not Elsa ;_;) next saturday (in a week from then) on a Victorian Picnic that was being held in Stockholm >v< YAAAY! I was super duper excited!

The show ended, and Närcon was pretty much over. I took a last little walk around some of the shops, just to get a last overview, but very soon it was time to get ready to go! I dragged my big and heavy suitcase along with me as we checked out, and we were lucky enough to get a ride with Emma´s (Loversrock) mom to the trainstation!

The train we got on had been overbooked, so we were really happy that we had preordered seats a long while beforehand! I felt a bit bad for the people who had to stand, but really,
the train was totally cramped! @_@

So yeah, another couple of hours later we found ourself in Stockholm! We then just had to get on another close-range district train to get to a nearby location a bit outside of Stockholm.
When we finally had managed to drag the suitcase up the whole way to the house and after that, up to the second floor guest room, we were both kind of beat >.<
I am pretty sure we just made some kind of dinner and rested, the rest of the evening!

The next day, you see, we had plans about going into Stockholm for some shopping! :D
We were meeting up with a couple of friends of Emilia, that came all the way from Austria! They were going home on tuesday morning, so we had to make sure to spend
some time with them that day.

We traveled by train again, ate breakfast at the central station together with our new friends, waited for Amanda (Lolitaland) to arrive, since she was joining us, and then we headed out! ^0^
We visited pretty much every clothing shop, and several of them plenty of times also, since there are multiple shops of the same brand all over the place...

After a while we started getting a bit hungry again, so we tried out something
that I´ve never done before!
We tried Frozen Yoghurt!

The line to the frozen yoghurt bar was really long, and I understand QUITE well why! >v< haha
I loved the concept about building your own cup-full though! It was fun, even though I felt like there was far too many options for me to choose from @_@

And here is my masterpiece:
I pretty much just mashed everything on there xD
SO SO SOOOO YUMMY!!!! *V*
I think I could live by this stuff XD haha... I am far too much of a sweet tooth...>. >

*nom nom nom nom nom*

Yeah... after finally finishing our FroYos´, we walked around a while again, visited more shops and also some really cool retro-vintage shops where I got my very first Cult-party kei robe!
(it is light blue and very dreamy >v< I will show it later on!)
We had planned on going to a lot of other shops, but we figured we didn´t have the time for it, so we instead we decided to rush to the new Ladurée shop that had opened in Stockholm!
It was one of my goals for the day, so I was really anxious to go ;v;

We had litterary only half an hour to reach the shop before closing time, and after rushing through the underground, running around like crazy little ants after the map on Emilias phone, we sprinted into the shop about 10 min before closing time, all of us pretty heavily breathed XD haha, what a laugh!
And omg, what a pretty shop ;v; it was amazing! I loved every inch of it,
and kinda felt like just staying there > v> ehehe

The ceiling had a beautiful, slightly clouded sky painted on it, and everything was gold-edged
with pretty and elegant light green details.
Both me and Emilia bought one of the biiig boxes. It costed a small fortune, but we both figured it would be well worth it, as the macarons there are extremly good. Also, we could use the boxes for jewelry displaying afterwards! ^^ Multifunctionality ;-)

After everyone had settled on what they wanted, payed the rather dashing employee that worked there (I felt like blushing really) we were kinda beat from running around all day, so we decided on just finding somewhere to eat again. We decided on going to Pizza Hut! It was acctually both mine and Amandas second time going to a Pizza Hut resturant,
and I believe it was our Austrian friends FIRST time!

They ordered a big pizza together, and so did I, Emilia and Amanda ^^
I am just saying one thing .... cheezy crust... OH.MY.FREAKING.GOD.... We almost died from the deliciousness XD haha

Lastly, since it was rather late after all of this, we figured they had to get back to their hotel to pack for the trip home. So we just payed our bills and decided to get a group picture together before all of us split up and headed in our seperate directions...

We were lucky enough to get a nice man to take it for us!^^

Me, Emilia, Amanda and our two new friends! <3
Borrowed picture posted by our Austrian friend Snii (Dreamdropsnii)! ^^ (on the far right)
Sorry for my absolutely derpy expression XD ahaha (Original post on tumblr!)

It had been another fantastic day, and I felt so happy having spendt it with so many wonderful people once again! I swear, I met so many lovely people on my trip @v@

I also felt so happy having got to stay at Emilias place with her ;V; super cosy!
(and more about that later = v=)
When we came home, we browsed lolita things on taobao, Mbok and Yahoo japan auctions, whilst eating macarons and drinking tea hehe XD Living the lolita lifestyle indeed...

I was excited about our next adventures to come, so even when the day had ended, the only sadness I felt was that it had passed so quickly! I wish it lasted forever, since I have seldomly felt such happyness as I did on this trip ;v;

Until next time!
